Crystal Translator uses ISpell to allow you to spell check your translated report in more than 30 languages.
Before spell checking your translated report, you need to ensure that the
relevant dictionary is selected. The abbreviation of the active dictionary is
indicated in the toolbar as follow:
You can select a different dictionary either from the menu Edit\Spell check
dictionary:
Or from the toolbar button, pressing the arrow:
After selecting the relevant dictionary, to spell check your translated report, do the following:
Go to the menu Edit\Spell check the translated report...
Or click on the toolbar button
or press the key F3
The spell checker will then check all the text properties displayed in the grid
editor one by one. If an unknown word is found then the following dialog box
will appear:
It shows you the sentence being analysed with the unknown
word in red.
You have the following options:
When the spell checking is completed, the following message appears:
You can also use the spell checker in the multi-line editor to check a specific
property only, using the toolbar button or the F3 key:
From the menu Edit\Spell checker options...
You can customize the behaviour of the spell checker:
The default installation installs dictionaries for English UK, English US,
French, German and Hebrew.
You can download more dictionaries from the dictionary list by selecting "Download
more dictionaries...":
