Distribution

After the localisation, you will have to distribute the target reports as individual files.

By default, the target report has the same name than the source report but with a suffix added at the end to represent to target language. For instance:
Source report name = year_turnover.rpt
French target report = year_turnover_fr.rpt

It is also possible to save the target reports in separate sub-folder, one sub-folder per target language like this:
year_turnover.rpt
fr\year_turnover.rpt
de\year_turnover.rpt
This can be done by activating the option "Save translated reports in language suffix sub-folders" in the "file\Options..." menu.

You may need to adapt your application to select the appropriate report according to the language selected by the user.

You may also need to distribute the fonts used in the target reports. Indeed, some target languages may require special fonts to be displayed properly. If the fonts used in the target report are not installed on the end-user computer, the text may not display properly as an alternative font will be selected by the operating system. Third party fonts usually require special licence for redistribution, you may want to provide download links to your end-users instead.
