Time formats
To reproduce the different time formats used in the world, several parameters need to be set. To avoid selecting all these parameters each time you "translate" a time, global time formats need to be set in this product before or during the translation of a report.

Then, you can use these time formats while translating time fields in the report.
When you open a source report or import a translated report, the time formats used in these reports are automatically created as global time formats in the TM and are therefore immediately available during translation.
To create a new time format:
- Press the add button
- Select a time base:
- If you selected a 12h base, you can enter a 12 hour symbol:
- Select the position of the 12 hour symbol
- Enter the morning am symbol
- Enter the afternoon pm symbol
- Select the hour format
- 06 (hour with leading zero)
- 6 (hour without leading zero)
- none (the hour will not be displayed)
- Enter the separator between hour and minute
- Select the minute format
- 03 (minute with leading zero)
- 3 (minute without leading zero)
- none (the minute will not be displayed)
- Enter the separator between minute and second
- Select the second format
- 09 (second with leading zero)
- 9 (second without leading zero)
- none (the second will not be displayed)
- Press the validate button
to save this new time format.
After saving the modifications, the format name on the left hand side will be updated automatically to show how a time will look like using this format.
